Unity/30 describes how we must work; the Big Push against Malaria describes what we must achieve. Together, they are a unified system for country- centered, evidence-driven malaria elimination as actors become more focused, evidence-driven, accountable, and proactive.
RBM Strategy: Unity/30
How we move as one
A framework for coordination
As the agenda for the RBM Partnership's work toward 2030. It focuses 500+ partners on the pillars of the Big Push to what matters most: delivering results for countries and keeping elimination within reach.
The philosophy behind it
Malaria ends when the whole ecosystem pushes in the same direction. Unity/30 is built on the belief that coordinated effort multiplies impact — that aligned partners, country-led priorities, and shared accountability can achieve what none of us can alone. This is what it means to work with unity.
Just as mosquitoes do not recognize borders, neither should our efforts to combat malaria.

Unity/30 and the Big Push Against Malaria
Two frameworks, one unified approach
Unity/30
Unity/30 helps the Partnership’s structures (e.g., Secretariat, PCs, WGs, constituencies) function as one ecosystem. It provides structure for individual work plans and measurable progress towards 2030 goals
Big Push against Malaria
The Big Push gives Unity the priority agenda around which to coordinate and measure progress. It aligns our gains within the broader context of the fight against malaria and broader concerns such as sustainability and multisectoral approaches.
Combined efforts
Together, Unity/30 and the Big Push create an environment of improved coordination, better use of data, and stronger systems, meaning every dollar, action, and intervention goes further. From political commitment to supply chains to community delivery, every element of the ecosystem benefits when we are aligned in not only our goals but our understanding of how we will achieve them.
Unity/30 Building Blocks
From strategy to action
RBM's work to 2030 is structured around five Building Blocks which house the operational commitments (i.e., how partners actually work). Together with clear KPIs, they make sure that the Partnership's progress is measurable, and in line with the Big Push against Malaria priorities, as we move toward elimination.
